Precautions before using a new mixer truck

In order to give full play to the performance of the concrete mixer truck and ensure the service life of the mixer truck, the new truck must be run-in before use. The operator should carefully read the relevant operation manual and perform the prescribed maintenance in accordance with the manual. This article lists the relevant precautions when using a new mixer truck.
I. Inspection items before departure:
1. Before the mixer truck departs, check whether the nuts and fasteners of the car tires are loose, and check the tire pressure.
2. Check whether the vehicle has oil leakage, water leakage, and air leakage, check whether the fuel, coolant, brake fluid, and lubricating oil are normal, and check the water level of the water tank.
3. Check whether each electronic control and manual switch is in the middle or zero position.
4. Start the engine and observe whether it is running normally; check whether the instrument, air pressure light, driving brake, and hand brake are normal, and observe whether the mixing tank is in a stopped state.
II. Loading, transportation and unloading of concrete:
1. Before loading, check whether there is water in the mixing tank and drain it clean. When the engine is idling, turn the operating handle to the appropriate position on the feed side to make the mixing tank rotate at an appropriate speed.
2. After loading, the operating handle should be turned to the stirring position to make the speed of the mixing tank 1-3r/min, lock the operating handle, and lower the baffle of the discharge chute.
3. During the transportation of the vehicle, the mixing tank must rotate at a speed of 1-3r/min in the stirring direction. It must not stop rotating during transportation to avoid concrete segregation and even damage to the equipment.
4. After arriving at the construction site, turn the handle to the appropriate position on the feed side and let the mixing tank rotate at 8-12r/min for 1 to 3 minutes to mix the concrete evenly before unloading.
5. After unloading, turn the handle to the stop position and clean the discharge hopper, discharge chute and extension chute with clean water to prevent the concrete from solidifying in these places.
