Last week, I hosted a client from Kenya who came to our factory in the Tianqiao Industrial Zone of Jinan to inspect the production process of the HOWO 6x4 dump truck. He spent the most time in the workshop on the chassis assembly line and the hydraulic testing area. My colleagues disassembled the rear tipping axle of a dump truck under assembly, explaining the torque verification standards for each process. The client specifically examined the welding process of the thickened stiffening plates on the truck bed and followed the assembly line through the entire process from plate welding to cab painting. Seeing that each workstation had its own independent quality inspection record card, he took many photos of the details. After personally confirming the weld flatness and the fixing structure of the lifting cylinder bracket, the client expressed his approval of the high level of standardization in the production site.
This HOWO 6x4 dump truck—the real thing is more convincing than the brochures. The lifting system uses hydraulic cylinders with imported seals, ensuring smooth lifting under heavy loads, and the descent buffer has been repeatedly calibrated. The truck body uses high-strength wear-resistant steel plates, with densely arranged bottom crossbeams, making it reliable enough for transporting gravel and ore. The powertrain is matched with an engine tuned for high-altitude conditions and a Fast gearbox, providing the low-speed, high-torque torque that dump trucks need most for heavy-load starts. The customer randomly selected a dump truck about to be shipped for inspection on-site, and after starting it, he performed two lifting and lowering maneuvers, all of which were smooth and without any abnormal noise. Every truck undergoes a full-load lifting test and braking test before leaving the factory, and all data is archived—this is what he values most.
Throughout the reception process, we focused on the details. Knowing that the customer was concerned about the operating and maintenance costs of dump trucks, our colleagues prepared a replacement schedule for vulnerable parts for the past three years and a stock list from the Jinan warehouse in advance, making everything clear at a glance. During the visit, the customer casually touched the anti-rust wax on the chassis, and the worker at the next station proactively handed him a wiping cloth and explained that it wasn't oil seepage; this natural reaction made him feel even more at ease. During the technical exchange, hydraulic piping diagrams and electrical schematics were printed out and annotated as they were viewed on the actual vehicle. The part number for each interface specification was immediately found. After the contract was signed, a colleague took him to the parts warehouse, pointing to the "HOWO Dump Truck Dedicated" shelf and explaining that commonly used parts for this batch of goods were always in stock in Jinan. The customer successfully signed the order that day, saying before leaving that he would like to visit the production line again on his next trip.
